Carley and Alec’s wedding brought us to The Pavilion at Lake Rabun in Lakemont, Georgia. The water views and the meal were two things we remembered from the day, along with a couple who were a pleasure to work with.
The Lake Rabun Association’s pavilion is a covered event space overlooking the lake. Its rental information includes a site map and parking details, useful starting points when you are working out how guests and vendors will arrive.
Make the view part of your schedule
If waterside photographs are a priority, ask your photographer when the light will be best and how long you will be away from the reception. Share that window with the planner and band. We can save a few of your favorite dance songs for when you return.
On the venue visit, walk from the arrival area to the ceremony, dinner, and dance floor. Check where announcements will need to be heard and where guests will gather while you take photographs. If you are using the venue’s sound equipment for any part of the day, confirm what it does and who will operate it.
Leave time for the photos you want, then let the band know when you’re back and ready to dance.
Send us your wedding date for The Pavilion at Lake Rabun and let us know where the ceremony and reception will happen.
You can also see our North Georgia wedding page and music timeline guide, then ask about your date.
