Courtney & James’s Wedding at Huitt Farms

Courtney and James started our 2023 wedding season with a reception at Huitt Farms in Anderson. We remember their guests singing along, the food, and the way they made the room their own.

Huitt Farms is an all-white shiplap venue on family farmland. The white interior gives couples a plain backdrop for their own colors and decor.

Tell the band why a song matters

If a singalong is part of what you want, think about the people who will be there. Think of a family road-trip song or a chorus your college friends always sing. Those details tell us more than a list of song titles alone.

Send a few favorites with a sentence about each one. Flag anything you want played before grandparents or other early-departing guests leave. We can talk through which songs work live and which would be better as recordings.

Keep a clear route to the dance floor

Before the layout is final, look at the route from guest tables to the band. Keep it easy to reach the floor, and make sure people who prefer to sit can still see the celebration. Your planner, venue, and band can help balance tables, service space, and dancing.

Send us your wedding date for Huitt Farms and a few songs your guests would love. Let us know if any need to happen before someone leaves early.
