A closer look at two Western NC celebrations
Chad and Kasey's October wedding at Chestnut Ridge brought guests to Canton, with Appalachian mountain views, a dining hall, and a photo booth alongside the celebration. The couple spent the night enjoying the dance floor with their guests. At Laurel Ridge Country Club in Waynesville, another fall wedding paired mountain scenery and autumn surroundings with a busy dance floor. These are different locations from Asheville, but both show the mountain celebrations that bring us back to Western North Carolina.
Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception
You can plan music for more than the dancing. Ceremony options include an acoustic duo or solo piano, while cocktail-hour music can give guests a relaxed setting to catch up. Cocktail hour typically features a jazz trio and is included when it requires no additional setup. Cocktail hour in a separate location and ceremony music can be added or included in higher packages. Can we request a first-dance song?
Yes. Please give us at least one month's notice for special requests such as first dances. You can also share must-play and do-not-play songs; we'll use those preferences while reading the crowd.
What happens during band breaks?
We coordinate breaks around your timeline, including toasts or other formalities, and provide recorded music during breaks. You're welcome to share a playlist. The five-hour booking period includes cocktail hour and the reception, but not ceremony music. We typically play 60–90-minute sets with 15-minute breaks; your quote and contract confirm the schedule.
