Choose music for each part
Seating music gives you room for several songs. The processional needs a shorter, clearer plan: who walks first, which song begins their entrance and whether the final entrance gets a separate piece. The recessional can have a different feel because guests are ready to stand and celebrate.
Send the artist and exact version of any request. Traditional pieces, hymns and pop melodies can all be considered, but the arrangement should suit the musicians you have booked. If a song matters because of its words, decide whether you want an instrumental or need to discuss a vocal option.
Make sure the vows can be heard too
Confirm microphones for the officiant and readers separately from the music. Share the ceremony location, power access and weather backup, and name the person giving entrance cues. Tell us when guests will start arriving so setup is finished before then.
