Hannah and Gabriel celebrated their October 5, 2024 wedding in Aiken, South Carolina, with Soulution providing live music for their reception at Goshen Farms. Their music choices made room for country favorites, meaningful dances, and a few decisions left to the band.
The setting came together just days before the wedding. After Hurricane Helene damaged The Rye Patch, the couple moved their reception to Goshen Farms. We stayed in touch through the change and followed their plans to the new venue.
For their first dance, Hannah and Gabriel chose Restless Road’s “Growing Old With You” and asked for the full song to be performed live. Gabriel’s dance with his mother had its own selection: “A Mother’s Song” by T Carter Music. Their reception plan also paired jazz for cocktail hour with a live “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” for the wedding party’s entrance.
Beyond those moments, they wanted flexibility. Hannah shared favorites and songs to leave out, then gave us room to read the crowd. They even left the last song open. It’s a useful approach for couples planning their reception: choose the moments that matter most to you, then let the band respond to your guests.
Roxanne Still’s photographs capture the celebration at Goshen Farms: the couple dancing in front of the band, guests joining the dance floor, and a sparkler send-off. Thank you, Hannah and Gabriel, for having Soulution be part of your wedding in Aiken.
